¿What is Third Sector Auditors (TSA)?
TSA is an ambitious project, through which we will implement the first international network of auditors' firms specialized in the third sector. This alternative network will accompany the non-profit private institutions as well as the big international firms of auditors accompany the multinational firms in their global operations.

The non-profit organizations, specially, the non-governmental organizations for development (NGODs) have developed explosively since they appeared during the second worldwide war. Nowadays, these institutions have world presence in their fight for a fairer world. The international cooperation funds come mainly from the multilateral organisms, public founds of the more developed economies or from donations of thousands of solidary people who hope that their donations relief the needs of the people of the south. So they trust in efficient organizations which are able to channel these founds towards the poorest people.

The external auditors are in charged of certifying that founds are properly used by the counterparties, so that there is the certainty that the international cooperation is arriving to their final recipients. Then, the external auditors are an essential part of the process and for that the cooperators look for auditors of recognized prestige.

¿Why an alternative Network?
The multinational firms of auditors have its origin in the century XIX, in the second big economical globalization. These firms, as well as the big English transnational firms, extended worldwide to give countable support to their strategic partners. Their professional services are designed to match the interests of the big international corporations, which is natural, because these are their main clients and their millionaire accounts are the fair reward to their efforts.

The costs of the multinational firms of auditors are high because they contract personnel for the different disciplines applicable to the business like: Corporate Law, Corporate Finance, Marketing and many others of some or none importance to the non-profit institutions. On the other hand, the magnificent structure and luxury of their offices are an important part of these costs.

The high costs before mentioned move to the fee charged for every auditory through the high rates of invoicing that are absorbed by the profits of the corporations.

The NGODs of world transcendency use often the services of auditors of transnational firms, because these have a well-gained prestige in the market, and for this, the NGODs pay fees that are compared to the paid by the global companies. This would be unfair if there would be a reliable alternative, because the over costs of auditory could be directed to the final recipients, that is, to the poorest of the world.

The transnational firms of auditory cannot reduce their fees to attenuate the distortion mentioned before because being a business, it privileges the client who pays more, so unless the NGODs pay the same that the private companies, they cannot access to the services provided by such firms.

An alternative world network of auditors aims to present an offer of qualified and specialized professionals in NGODs, with an adequate relation price-quality.

The alternative network TSA is constituted in a firm of international character where its partners share the values that promote the actions of the NGODs, in such a way that auditories are worth, at a reasonable cost and, at the same time, they contribute to its institutional strengthening.

A world network of this kind has the success guaranteed and it would accompany the international NGODs in its operations worldwide.

The transnational firms of auditors have displaced from all relevant work to the small and medium local firms of auditors, which cannot compete with the firms of world magnitude. TSA aims to integrate and provide this offer of international standards at the level of the big firms of auditors.

TSA will give world dimension to small and medium local firms of auditors specialized in NGODs.
